There are a few different ways for installation depending on if you have long or short hair. Here are the installation steps below:DREADLOCK INSTALLATION FOR LONG HAIR: Step 1: Fold the dread in half.Step 2: Pull natural hair through the centre loop hole.Step 3: Create a braid consisting of the dread and splitting the natural hair pulled through the loop hole into two pieces which creates the 3 parts of your basic 3 way braid. Braid down one side of the extension.Step 4: Once you get to the end section of the natural hair, rubber band the ends to the dreadlock extension.DREADLOCK INSTALLATION FOR SHORT HAIR: Step 1: Grab a section of natural and tie a rubber band around the base creating a mini piggy tail.Step 2: Fold the double ended dread in half at the centre point where you will find the undreaded section. Step 3: Lay undreaded section of the extension over top of little piggy tail and secure at the top with a chair clip.Step 4: Split piggy tail in half, put undreaded extension section in the middle, bring two sections of your natural hair back together and tie off with a rubber band as low as possible.Step 5: Flatten small piece of hair sticking up by tying down to the synthetic dread extension with another rubber band. Pieces required: This really depends on the thickness of your natural hair, the thickness of the dreads and the overall look you want to achieve. As a general run of thumb you will need 40 – 60 Double ended synthetic dreadlocks for a full head install.
