hair thining

Hair thinning has become a major hair problem to men and women alike. But the good thing is you can use the best hair extensions; and if done properly by a professional hairdresser then it’s hardly noticeable.

Whereas, an alternative option is a wig, but it comes with a risk.. It can be extremely embarrassing if wig malfunction occurs.

We do have a few options to help your thinning hair though, I personally recommend the onion hair mask.

Are you skeptical about if the onion hair mask will work for you? Let me tell you a few facts about it. Sulphur, is one of the major components that is present in onions and it is a well-known fact that it aids in growing healthy hair and induces production of new hair.

It brings in more blood to flow to your scalp providing that much needed iron to nourish the roots. More importantly, it acts as an antimicrobial agent so it kills infections even before they start.

Another amazing facts about onion that makes them a perfect solution is that they also have potassium, vitamin B6, magnesium, vitamin C and germanium so direct application on the scalp will have more benefits to you hair’s health.

Try this fool-proof solution and be amazed with the result:

  • Select a bunch of onions and peel them. Use a grater instead of a blender for consistency. Place gated onions unto the strainer and press hard to extract the onion juice.

  • Mix equal parts of olive oil & coconut oil to make the hair mask mixture. If you can’t stand the stench of onions I highly suggest that you add loads of lemon juice, rose water and ½ orange to get rid of the smell.

  • Apply the blend to your roots and massage your scalp for 5 minutes and let it stay for at least 30 minutes.

  • Rinse thoroughly using a soft shampoo.

This should be done every couple of days to get faster results. The effect will be seen within a month or two depending on the person’s response to the treatment.

However, if you cannot take the smell of onions I have some other options for you. Let me present 4 simple tricks that would do the job just as well.

  1. Aloe Vera

Of course we all know the ever famous plant that promotes hair growth and keeps it strong and healthy. It can be both done internally and externally. It’s either by drinking Aloe Vera juice half an hour before each meal. Or applying the juice to your scalp, massage, leave it on for at least 30 minutes to an hour and rinse well.

  1. Massage with lukewarm oil

The action of massaging scalp with lukewarm water does not only conditions, improves hair texture but also improves blood circulation thus stimulate new hair to grow. Warm coconut or olive oil, dip the cotton ball and rub gently on the scalp. Leave it on for an hour and massage well before rinsing.

  1. Jojoba oil

Jojoba oil contains properties that prevent hair from becoming brittle because it acts as stimulator and an excellent moisturiser. This oil keeps the hair strong, prevents hair loss and allows new strands to grow. You get the best results by leaving the oil on your scalp the whole night and just wash it like you usually do the following morning.

  1. Coconut milk/oil

This amazing oil has been known for its many benefits including the hair miracle worker. This oil is light so it can easily be absorbed by the hair follicle. You can use either lukewarm coconut oil or the coconut milk instead and leave it on the hair for 6 to 8 hours and wash it off with a mild shampoo.

It is not okay to have thinning hair or bald spots. It is our crowning glory after all so let’s take action. So don’t get depressed, we got you covered. Take good care of your hair and pamper it back to health.

Good luck!
